Faceless Fashion

Taken in the Hermès or Yves Saint Laurent exhibits in Paris. These images were carefully laid out, both by color and by subject, in order to create the most appealing layout.

Ireland

From May 21st to June 2nd, I was in Ireland for an arts program at Cow House Studios in Wexford, Ireland. For those two weeks, I had the opportunity to create drawings, paintings, and photographs. In these, I attempted to capture the beauty of Ireland in my own way. The vast, open landscapes were unbelievably beautiful, and were also somehow even more green than I had expected! The pictures you see below are from the studio (Wexford), Galway, Kilkenny, the Aran Islands, and Dublin. Overall, the trip reminded me of my love for photography, my passion for new challenges, and sparked new and exciting ideas that I am very excited to pursue.

Graffiti Pier

On Sunday, April 23, I went to Graffiti Pier in Philadelphia for a portrait session. Graffiti pier is an incredible place to take portraits; the way the light hits the walls creates breathtaking colors and shadows that affect the subject beautifully. We went in the afternoon so that the light was a stronger color than it would have been earlier in the day. There were a number of other photographers there- it is a very popular spot for portraits because of the beautiful colors and designs of the pier. Overall, it was a lovely day and a very cool experience, and I hope to go back soon to experiment with more ideas and to explore other parts of the pier.
